What we will cover

We see tithi, nakshatra and festivals in the calendar every day, but what does each line actually say? In one hour Nimkar Guruji explains the five parts of a Panchang in simple words, and at the end we read that day's Panchang together.

  • What a Panchang is
  • Measuring time, and the tithi
  • Vaar, nakshatra, yoga, karana
  • Reading today's Panchang together
  • Two common misunderstandings
  • Questions and answers

Keep a Panchang or Kalnirnay handy. Type questions in the chat; they are answered at the end.

Is it really free?

Yes, completely free. Just register with your mobile number and email.

When do I get the Teams link?

By email right after registering, and again 30 minutes before.
